Meet Rachel
Rachel Poe is an user experience designer and artist living in Chicago, IL. She received her M.F.A. from the University of Iowa in 2017.
There she studied painting, drawing, photography, and printmaking. She used a combination of these things to create miniature worlds that she photographed. Like this one.

She also loves being a goof.
Rachel loves reading and daydreaming. Her favorite genres are romance, fantasy, and sci-fi. She believes story telling is an important part of building empathy.
When she’s not working you can find her with her pet dart frogs, overwatering her house plants, reading, or starting another embroidery project.
Just look at that cute tum.
Fun Fact! Rachel knows most of the script to Muppet Treasure Island by heart.

I can't say enough about her ability to self teach, plan, organize, moderate, design and deliver far beyond expectations- and even beyond what we as a group imagined in some cases!! Rachel and I had a few 3AM nights together, she was always willing to sacrifice and pull through for the sake of the project and pick up the slack together where it was needed. I couldn't have made it through this process without her.
10/10 recommend her for ANY job simply based on her ability to teach herself and willingness to figure it out. She can do anything based on those qualities alone, and she's an excellent communicator.
